lioking, Science of Mind is neither a cult nor a religion. It was founded in 1927 by Earnest Holmes and is intended to add to an already spiritually blessed life. It is about the same subject matter as "The Secret" but told in a much more elequent way. The Secret is like the cliff notes version of Science of Mind.

There is a following of people behind it, but it is not technically a religion. The concept is that the enitre universe is a reflection of one giant all inclusive thought and we, as purveryors of thought, have access to that deep well since it is a reflection of us. Sin is not a punishment, but rather a deviation of the inheritently good nature of the universe.

Stuff like that.

My response to the last post I guess would be....It's your attitude...not your aptitude...that determines your altitude.

Dyan, who thinks that experience is a hard teacher....It gives the test first...and the lesson afterward. Darn! LOL Have a great night!

this blog makes me remember a song by Susanna Clark called "Come From the Heart"

You got to sing like you don't need the money
Love like you'll never get hurt
You got to dance like nobody's watchin'
It's gotta come from the heart if you want it to work

About the song WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD, it so nice to hear that song. Everytime we think of a song that we like to hear, I always consider this song as one of it.

I think they describe that song as Sunday morning song, so relaxing and refreshing to once mind. A lot of version, Rod Stewart, etc. but the original is the best.

I still remember a religion or a cult, I am not sure, called the Science of Mind. Most of their members are elite person in our counttry. We were once invited and attended one of their session which dicusses about the belief in the power of the universe instead of the existence of what we called and knew as GOD.

Most of their members are from elite society except for some like us who were just sponsored by one of their generous member and who happened to have a business transactions in our Dept.

The speaker was so convincing in explaining about this belief which is somewhat related to the Law of Attraction. The only thing I was turned off about was you can't ask negative question about these beliefs because you will always hear same answer from her that you are attracting a negative energy.

Hey, j-dude.. Be careful about your French Poodle analogy I have four poodles 2 miniatures and 2 standards. If I could find a man that is anything like my poodles that would be awesome! Their hunting dogs and retrievers. They are the second smartest dog in the world. Oh....and they are not from France... they come from Germany.

Awww, to find a man like a poodle would indeed be a delight. Intelligent, giving, they are always by my side and know when I am happy and know when I am sad. They give unconditional love and sleep with me and use my body for their pillow. When I put on music they love to dance and play. I know if they could they would even do the dishes. I have been working on them to put their toys away. lol

Like a best friend they give to me and I give to them. And they do really dance with me with their paws on my shoulders. What fun we have!
I know j-dude you were just goofing around but I just had to share this with you. Thank-you for making us laugh and smile!

When I am headed into the wonderful world of dream land.. I always praise the Universe for another glorious day. With coffee in hand and pondering my day.. I start with a loving thank-you. But my most important time I am thankful for the Universe is often during my day.
You know when everything just seems to be going your way? One minute all is OK?...and then in a blink of an eye ...something happens and your in a negative state and don't where and what to do? That is the time I give my pain away. I give my troubles to the Universe and then I can freely play.

Do miracles happen in our Universe? I believe if we are open and clear of mind they happen to us everyday. My last post I said: I wished I could find a man that was rich in mind, body and soul. I believe he came into my life last evening about an hour after I sent my post. It's getting too late and I need to hit the hay so I will keep you informed of my blessing....a gift from Universe.
All things happen when we are ready for them.
I am ready willing and able to give deep within my heart and to always remember to do way more than my part.
Thank-you again David!
I love reading everyone's positive thoughts on this subject. Thanks everyone!
Rainbows and Sunshine....
