Clean Car
Khiem’s car is exactly what you want your car to look like. It smells good every time you get in it and it’s neat. You feel really comfortable in it.
Does your car have so much shit in it that when a girl gets into the front seat you have to move everything onto the floor?
It’s gross, and it doesn’t turn her on. It really turns her off.
Do you pick up a woman and your car has mud all over it? It’s really dirty because you haven’t washed it in a while?
It doesn’t maker her feel comfortable, and it definitely turns her off.
I always have my car cleaned and it’s great for a few days, and then as time progresses… it just gets worse. But I try.
These little things are so important. It’s funny, but it matters.

This is so underrated it’s ridiculous.
It’s a sure way for a woman to know how well you take care of your most valuable things.
I keep my car clean all the time. It smells great and I rarely use a freshener. Although, when I do use one, it enhances the experience of driving with me.
I have too much respect for my and myself to let someone see my car a mess.
I don’t smoke and I try not to eat my food inside my car and it became an attitude to me. Even without telling my friends they knew already that they can’t eat and smoke inside my car.
Now that I hink about it… Khiem DOES have a really clean car! Mine has a bunch of paper and fliers all over the floor
That’s funny, David. I was recently dating someone, and she let me ride in her car as my car was out of commission for a few days. It was exactly the opposite of clean and uncluttered. I wonder if there is a two-way streak here.
By the way, when I got my car back and she got to ride in it, she noticed how clean mine was. I guess they do notice even if their car is a total mess!

My new car (and hopefully future gf) is going to absolutely love me, if the state of my room continues!!
Not that my new car is my future gf obviously…
I’d rather a man let me sit on the nasty mess of crumbs and grease stains and hair and fliers and rags that keep him company than have him conform to social dictates and put on a performance for me. I want him to show me who he is, unapologetically. I want to see last month’s Maxim peeking from the glove compartment and to have to move a all the KFC residue from this week and last week and the week before that, along with an empty Windex bottle and a broken umbrella, out of the way before sitting down next to him; it’s more of a learning experience that way. I won’t think he’s being any less “considerate”; I’ll just appreciate his honesty. Sure, if everything’s unnaturally manicured and right just because I’ll be visiting, I’ll learn something about him, too: that nodding to society’s expectations is more important to him than breathing freely in his own skin. I want for him to be comfortable and pleased with who he just happens to be, which is the biggest turn-on of all.
I love a muddy jeep….Though I’ll admit that getting it muddy in the first place is much more fun!
Speaking of messy cars mine is sometimes a mess. But I have been in some bachelor’s places that need a maid. But I figure well at least it is lived in. Any takers on who would like to clean my car.
I would told this by a guy one time that when he went home with his date and she had a dirty place he would not see her again. I believe you should be yourself and let them see who you are. In the long run if you happen to be together he is going to see the true you eventually.
My boyfriend keeps his car neat, and it is not an act. It is, a little annoying. For example, NO ONE is allowed to eat in his car. Really. Coffee is ok, just don’t spill it. He really likes washing his car.
I’m was the opposite, until I had my car broken into a few times, then I stopped leaving stuff in my car, so it is much cleaner on the inside. However, it still only gets washed when the mechanic washes it at the oil change, or the boyfriend can’t stand it anymore . . . which is rare, since he always drives.
Here is another tip for guys (or gals) who get into a messy car person’s car. Just because they make it a mess, doesn’t mean you can. So if you eat in their car, don’t leave your fast food trash in their car too.
Sandra,
What the guy told you makes sense to me. I don’t think there is anything wrong with her having a messy place, or anything wrong with him choosing not to see her because of it. He spotted earlier than she did a place where they are incompatible.
I always keep my car clean inside-out every weekend. Make it as a habit and i believe everyone can do so was DavidWygant:)
Have a Super Weekend !!!
Lexi
I don’t know him and I were talking about relationships and he just brought it up. So as far as their relationship that is unknown.
i don’t have a clean car :/
my car consists of school books, water bottles
surf snacks….. surf wax…. wetsuit, beach towels and cds!
definitely something i gotta work on!
I actually feel less comfortable if a guys car is super clean. It means I can’t relax and have a snack or put my feet up on the dash because I’m worried about messing up his car. Being anal about your things is lame.
my car is decently clean most of the time, if i have papers and stuff they are usually in the back seat anways out of the way just in case i’m giving someone a ride…also many people tell me they love the way my car smells everytime they get in makes me feel good to kno that ppl enjoying riding in my car
))
I live near a car wash that offer passes. The annual car wash pass will keep your car clean, and for about $40 a month plus tips! I always like my cars better clean!
You know something we have housemaids I wonder if they can come up with car maids. I wish them luck on keeping my car clean. I just unloaded four bags of wal mart trash from my car yesterday.
It was one Saturday noon of summer of this year when me , my friend and his girlfriend went for a drive around lakeshore. I was driving my car and my friend was seating in the front seat. His girlfriend was pretty relaxed at the backseat using my one and only car pillow. Listening to a soft music while driving and talking to my friend I noticed my friend’s girlfriend was already sleeping at the backseat.
After half an hour driving around , I heard my friend’s girlfriend said that she has a good nap at the backseat of my car and said thanks to my car pillow which made here neck so relax. I saw my friend’s facial expression and it doesn’t look good. I just ignored the incident.
Oh wow, my car has a worldwide reputation for being clean now. Great!!!!
Now I can never make it dirty otherwise someone will come back to me and say: I thought David said your car is always clean? LOL
Anyway, I personally just enjoy having my life in order and clean. I’m not a clean freak. People can eat and drink in my car but they just have to clean up after themselves. To me, having a clean car gives me peace of mind. I don’t like the feeling of clutter-ness.
Keeping it clean is definitely not an act for me. I think having my living environment clean is just more enjoyable.
As far as the women comment how they prefer a guy who shows who he is, even in his messiness, I agree. Men should always act authentic to who they are. If the man is messy, the woman will find out eventually.
But it never hurts to try to make a good impression
