I was talking with the guys from this weekends LA bootcamp, and one of the guys asked a question. He looked at me and he said, “What makes you successful?” I looked at him and I thought to myself, a lot of things, but I know what he’s getting at. He wasn’t asking me what my definition of success was. He asked me what made me successful. And you know what makes me successful in all areas of my life?

So, Shogo inspired a blog the other day. He inspires a blog all the fuc@#$@# time, according to Shogo. (That’s a direct quote from him right next to me-but then he really does inspire blogs all the fuc@!#$% time. So give him some credit.) But he definitely inspired this blog.

How old is too old to have a roommate?

Maybe you’ve been watching the stock market spike and dip last week. Last week it hit below 10,800. And as you watched it dwindle down, you thought to yourself, “Can it hit zero? Then I’ll have no return on my investments.” Well its now Saturday night heading into Sunday. Its time to look at your own personal dating life like a stock chart.

Some of you need to think of your dating life as the stock market. Lots of ups, lots of downs.

You know when you sit next to a stranger what you do? For me, I just spout out the name of every person, celebrity and client I’ve ever known. I just talk at that stranger, and tell him or her what a big shot I am. Oops, that’s not me. That’s the person behind me.

Actually on that same flight to Toronto last week, I sat right next to John McEnroe, and I did nothing about it.

Maybe you have a friend who — no matter what happens — will always try to want to hear about your life, listen to you for two seconds and then go off on whatever topic of that person’s life at the time.

We all have a friend like that. We all have those types of friends that are constantly bitching and complaining about their life bitching and complaining about their situation, but they never really listen to you.

If I could only go back in time, I’d do that differently.

If I could only go back to that night and speak to that woman that I was attracted to.

I wrote a recent blog about fuckation, which is when you’re in a
relationship, you just go and screw each other’s brains out for 48
hours in a random hotel and have a blast. A lot of you got appalled.

Are you guys enjoying your summer? When I was a kid, summers were really special. I went to camp, and the nights were great. We played outside until 9 at night. It’s so different as an adult. I mean sure, the weather’s nice and stuff like that, and I appreciate that, but I live in Los Angeles. The weather is pretty much nice all the time.

Do you feel like we have too much technology? Do you feel that there is too much information available? Do you feel like things are moving too fast nowadays?
Remember the good old days and how life was back in the 60′s, 70′s and 80′s? Things were done more on intuition. There wasn’t nearly as much information out there.

Let’s talk a bit about integrity today. Integrity is really related to honesty, and I think that integrity is really the benchmark of what determines whether you are a good or bad person.
