Do you have any idea what your home says about you?

You know, I’ve gone into many people’s homes, and immediately I can figure out who they are and how they care about themselves. If I go into their bathroom and it’s absolutely disgusting, I think to myself, this person could care less about hygiene. They probably don’t brush their teeth and probably wear the same underwear three days in a row.

I go in their kitchen and I see nothing in the refrigerator, and I think to myself: they must really like to starve themselves. If I go into their bedroom and their bed is unmade, I think now that’s cool, they must think to themselves every morning, “Why the hell make a bed?” I’ve never understood that point, where you don’t make the bed because “you’re just getting in it to unmake it again anyway.” Right.

Dating And Clean Homes

You get the point. Your home says so many things about you, especially if you’re dating. Your furniture will say a lot about who you are. The way you decorate will say a lot about who you are. If you have pictures on the wall it will say a lot about who you are.

Look around your house as you read this blog, and if you’re reading this blog at work, look around your desk. Does the condition of your desk actually describe who you are as a person? Look around your house tonight when you go home, and take a look at it, and ask yourself, if I came into this home, would I feel homey? Does it give off the character — does it give off who I am? Is it warm? Is it fuzzy? Is it new? Is it modern? Is it hip? Is it cool?

So many people don’t spend enough time on their house. I think it’s time you really started figuring it out because when someone comes over to your house for the very first time, you want them to have a certain feeling about you. What’s that feeling that you get about your house when you go in there?

Something that I tell women all the time when I’m coaching them is, “”You really look your best when you don’t look your best.”"

I know that’s probably confusing to some of you right now and you’re wondering what I mean by that.

When I was in Vegas a couple of weeks ago, I was out on a Saturday night with my client. We were walking around and every single woman was wearing her tramp outfit: maybe a short dress, some tight jeans that looked like they was painted on, had some hot color lipstick and mascara from bright red to pink to black, all the bells and whistles. Basically her whole outfit looked like it was spray painted on.

Similarly, every single guy was wearing his male version of the tramp outfit. Every guy seemed to have the same tight T-shirt on or the same Saturday night untucked collared shirt thing going on, with shiny or spiky hair and loads of cologne.

No Need For Makeup

But as far as women go, the fact is that don’t really look your best during those times when you’re all dolled up to the nines. Because for a lot of us men (and I know a lot of guys will be silently nodding right now), we’re attracted to you when you just got out of the gym and you’re all sweaty in your yoga pants not wearing any makeup. We’re attracted to you when you have your hair up and you’re out running errands or you just stepped out to get yourself takeout dinner in a tank top and beat-up jeans.

What I tell women all the time is that if a guy is looking at you, smiling at you, and you don’t think you look your best, he actually thinks that you are looking great. He actually likes the way you look, and you don’t have to spray paint on your best Saturday night outfit to be attractive to him.

So take it as a compliment. A lot of women feel like they’ve got to have their game outfit on or they’ve got to be all made up to look their best. Then when they’re out running errands and a man approaches her, she gets self-conscious or she doesn’t smile and tries to avoid eye contact because she thinks she looks like a mess.

But in reality, ladies, when we’re looking, we’re liking. So even when you don’t feel your best or look your best, look around, smile, and put yourself out there and I guarantee you will see men checking you out all over the place.

I think we have a new tradition here on the blog. Every Wednesday, I pick out the weeks best posting or email and turn it into a podcast.

Now before you jam my in-box with emails for next week. I want to set the record straight.

If you want your email to be the one that is turned into the podcast, it would make my life easier if you posted on the blog.

That way everyone can see the posting and get involved in the conversation as well.

Here is today’s winning email.

“I have been listening to your podcasts and I wanted to bring up something that has hurt my dating life for years. I was raised by a overprotective mother and I was a chunky little girl as a child with very little fashion sense. I didn’t know how to talk back to people and defend myself and I was subsequently harrassed and bullied for much of my childhood up to high school. Safe to say that this took a huge toll on my self esteem and self image. Much of the problem today stems from the fact that the ones who teased me the most were the handsome jock types. While I find these men very attractive today I have the hardest time making eye contact with them. If I see a attractive man walking towards me it takes a extreme amount of will power and mental proding to look at them and attempt to smile. I know this is a defense mechanism from when I wanted to avoid the bullies attention when I was little but this has stuck with me today and it is extremely hard to stop doing it.

I am almost 27 now and in better physical shape than when I was 16, I figure skate and attend regular exercise classes but I still have a hard time thinking that I am attractive. I can still hear the bullies voices in my head sometimes and it is extremely difficult to overcome. I know I am much older and have a very thick skin because of my childhood but after awhile the behavior of looking away became so ingrained I don’t know if I will really ever get rid of it. I know body language is extremely important when trying to talk to someone you find attractive but aside from tripping and falling on the person I find attractive I am not sure how to break this habit and show that I want to talk to them. I am not sure I can manage to smile at them once let alone 3 times. Is there any advice you could give me to break this lifelong habit?

Erin, Cleveland, Ohio”

Are you ready for my answer?

Just listen in now below:

People have such warped images of what people should look like.

People have such warped images of what people should look like.

What you’re about to watch is a woman who’s very cute on her own, but goes through Photoshop and the end result you see is what turns men into crazed perfection seeking horn dogs and women into insecure fearful human beings.

Most Men believe that they should be dating the type of women that they see in this type of video. Even men in bad shape only see themselves dating the hot sexy toned women. Their version of perfection is based on the air brushed women they see on tv and in magazines.

And lets not mention a mans view about sex is based on crazy porno sex. Sex that really does not exist nor turn on the average woman.

Women, on the other hand, feel really pressured to look great, because they are always looking at themselves under a microscope.

Women are super critical of themselves more than any man could ever be.

Check this out it shows you the distortions of the way things are and the way people think things should be.

Women after the watching the video how do you feel about the way life and beauty is distorted?

If you want to get the ultimate version of yourself check out my women’s no excuses package.

As most of you know, I don’t really drink. So I didn’t wake up this morning with an alcohol-related hangover, but I did wake up this morning with a holiday weekend hangover.

You take six days off work, and when you wake up the first morning you’re going back to work you are pissed. You’re pissed not because you’re going back to work, but because you’re just not ready for the barrage of emails, that first stupid question of the day . . . or even for oatmeal. That is what I call the holiday weekend hangover.

All of us know exactly how this feels. It’s the worst kind of feeling in the world, especially for people in this country who don’t get enough vacation time. Can you imagine how it is in Europe? How does that holiday hangover feel after being off of work for the entire month of August?

It’s really not fun. I’ll tell you, though, at least you’re in one piece and an affair didn’t bite you in the ass.

When are professional athletes, actors and politicians going to get it? What do they need to get a wakeup call? How many more of them have to die with their dicks in their hand to finally realize, “Hmmm…I’m a high profile person, so maybe I shouldn’t be cheating on my wife with a hot-tempered 20 year old.”

I was a huge Steve McNair fan. He was a battler and a competitor. He did great things for the community. Hanging out with a woman from Dave & Busters when you have four kids, however, isn’t a great move.

They are calling his death a homicide. They are not calling Sahel Kazemi’s death a homicide. Hmmm, can we put the pieces together ourselves? We’ll wait for the Nashville Police Department to tell us it was a murder-suicide.

It just really bothers me, the idea of someone deciding they have the power to take someone’s life. I’m not going to sit here and talk about handgun control, when really it could be as simple as penis control.

Cheating can kill you. Forget smoking. I’ve said it before and I’ve said it many times: If you’re not happy in a relationship, man up before you go sticking your penis in another woman’s volatile vagina.

We’ve all heard about women being scorned and seen enough of them get even. How many penises need to be bitten off, and how many men need to be blackmailed or murdered, before you realize that cheating doesn’t pay.

Now, don’t even get me started this morning on prescription drugs. Gee, I think I’m going to take a drug so powerful that when most humans take it they have an anesthesiologist administer it. What are some people thinking?

The world lost two very unique people who made some stupid decisions. I believe everything has a lesson. Learn from these lessons.

Maybe you’re not popping highly addictive pharmaceutical drugs, but maybe you have some other vice that’s slowly killing you. Maybe you’re in a relationship that’s not working and you’re thinking about sticking your penis elsewhere.

Pay attention to the deaths of Michael Jackson and Steve McNair. So many people think these kind of things can never happen to them. I’m sure Michael Jackson and Steve McNair did not imagine their outcomes.

Today’s message, if you don’t already know what it is, is to pay attention to the warning signs and to stop thinking you’re invincible. It could be as simple as to stop texting while you’re driving, because let me assure you that you will eventually get into an accident if you don’t.

It could be your attitude toward alcohol. You might think, “It’s just wine” but have you ever heard the term “wino?” You might be cheating and think she’ll never find out, but you never know what kind of woman you’re cheating with and what she might do.

So, once again, this holiday weekend hangover is brutal! Does anyone got a prescription for it?

So now it is summer time. It is a good time to update your wardrobe. Plus all the sales are now are taking place and most of the clothes are 50% off!!

What is really fun about updating your wardrobe is not buying the stuff and then taking it home; it’s the actual act of buying it – the art of buying. This gives you the opportunity to walk into any clothing store you want, find a woman you are attracted to, look at her, walk directly over to her and say, “hey, I’m looking to update my look, and I’d like to get your opinion on it. I’m curious: what would you like to see on my if I came and picked you up at your house tonight?”

Be playful a little bit. Let her dress you. Have some fun with it. Do something different – push yourself out of your comfort zone! If that’s too bold of a statement for you to make when you walk in there, then walk up to her and say, “listen, I’ve been to a couple of stores and I’m looking to update my wardrobe, what do you think would look good on me?”

That’s it. “I was wondering…” or “I was curious…” – these are two very powerful phrases because they allow you to get them to talk about their emotions. Curiosity and wonder are emotion-based, and you use these words to engage her in a conversation.

What you do is walk into that store and engage her in a conversation. You allow her to dress you, you have some playful banter – you can find out whether or not she likes you through the playful banter.

But the bottom line is, it’s springtime, and you probably do need some new clothes. You need to get out there and do it. Head to the mall, head to a store where you see a woman you are attracted to, and walk directly in there.

Let’s say there’s a woman shopping in the store – it doesn’t matter who she is shopping for – her boyfriend, her brother, whoever. Ask her! Try something on, and walk over to her and say, “hey, let me ask you a quick question: I’m curious, what do you think of this shirt on me? What do you think of these jeans on me?” Get her opinion on the whole thing. You never know – she may not have a boyfriend. She may actually be shopping for her father or her brother. She may be shopping for you! Who knows?

If you talk to her and have a good time talking with her, what happens is that you’ve made a new contact, and that new contact could be somebody that you could meet again at a later date – and perhaps at that later date, they have a really good-looking friend with them. Then you’ll have an opportunity to go and meet her friend through her.

It’s all about connecting, and all about having fun. So think of shopping in a whole different way, and go out and enjoy yourself.

If you’re on a budget and don’t have much money for clothes – don’t worry about it. You can go window shop and try some clothes on, figure out what you’re going to buy at a later date, and still have fun meeting people.

Talk to you soon!
Todays Video is all about how to be dynamic even if you don’t have the new clothes!!!

Fashion Ideals By David Wygant

	What’s the ideal fashion?

There is a terminology that the pickup community (pua community) uses. As you guys know, most of the time I don’t really use the nicknames or terminologies that are being used in the pickup community because I like to just call it what it is.

But there is something the pickup community calls ‘peacocking’ – no, it’s not a guy walking around with peacock feathers trying to hook up with women – it’s about men developing a look so they can actually go out and attract women.

We have a different version of it, and it is: having good fashion.

The basics of fashion really include developing a style that is unique to you – not because you’re trying to show off to women, but because you’re trying to reflect aspects of your own personality.

First of all, it goes almost without saying, your clothes should be well fitted – if your clothes are too baggy and loose, what does that say about you? It probably says that you’re either afraid of your body – you might be slightly overweight and trying to hide that behind your clothing – or, it might say that you’re just a sloppy guy! Well-fit clothes will ALWAYS make you look better – it doesn’t matter if you’re skinny, fat, or just plain normal.

So what’s the idea behind peacocking? A lot of guys in the community will talk about how you want to stand out. Yes, standing out is good a little bit, if you’re going to bars and clubs all of the time. However, it isn’t necessary to go overboard.

You should just pick items that are unique and reflect who you are. For example, if you’re a skydiver, are there any items, or maybe a t-shirt that has a skydiving logo on it? Maybe you wear something with a cool design that represents who you are.

Your pieces of clothing should act as a way for her to know who you are. If you’re dressed like a businessman, what does that say about you? It says that you’re probably a businessman! That, in itself, can be appealing to a woman who is looking for a business-savvy guy.

It’s the same thing in terms of accessories. I personally don’t buy a lot of generic clothing; usually the way I pick my clothes is by looking around. I scout around, and while a lot of clothes are looking good, I will only pick the one that I think that most guys would not wear. For me, I like to be unique. If somebody looks at me, then hopefully they will think that I’m a unique individual, because I usually pick clothing that is very different.

So fashion is really something to show who you are, rather than something to get looks from people. It’s really about representing yourself. It’s nice to be looked at, and hopefully if you match things well and combine your tops and bottoms properly then you will look different and get looks from people. But really fashion should be about you.

Everything starts with YOU – from the way you talk, the way you present yourself – and the stronger your image is (and no, I’m not talking about your avatar!) the more likely you are to attract the kind of woman who is looking for that kind of guy.

Todays podcast deals with how your energy and attitude rubs off on everyone including your dog.

As always all podcasts are live recordings from the field of life!! This podcast is great for both Men and Women.
The lesson is for both of you!!

Enjoy and have a great Sunday.

Clothing Tips By David Wygant

Alright, so let’s talk about clothing for a minute. First of all, if you own a wardrobe full of things that don’t fit you anymore (because you paid $30 for them six years ago and you are still trying to wear them) you need to get rid of them immediately.

If you’ve lost some weight, and you’re wearing a pair of shorts that you have to belt, and those shorts look like they would fit your Grandpa Mickey, you need to get rid of them.

Women want to see what your body looks like – whether or not you are muscular, skinny, or have a few extra pounds – women want to see what they’re getting into. And they have every right to see what they’re getting into because we actually demand it of women.

We love to see women in clothes that actually fit them so we also know what we’re getting into. A lot of guys like women that are a little bit chunkier. A lot of guys like women that are heavy. A lot of guys like women that are thin. But guys like to see women in clothing that actually fits them, so they can see the body type that they are attracted to.

In terms of men, so many men wear these shirts that are three sizes too big, that drape down off their shoulders, and they just look like their grandfather gave it to them – or it was a college graduation present from their dad like 20 years ago.

Some guys have purchased a pair of shorts or jeans where the wash is 30 years old – but they’re all paid for, you don’t owe any money on them, no finance charges or anything! – and you continually keep wearing them even though they don’t look good. They don’t fit well; the ass is all sagged out…

So if you’re walking around in a pair of jeans or shorts that make you look like you’re wearing over-sized diapers for adults, it’s time to go and find a new wardrobe!

You have to look for your clothing based on how it fits. Do your shirts fit on your shoulders? Do your pants fit around your waist without falling down? When you wear those pants, do you need to hold onto them with two fingers so they don’t fall down to the ground?

Apparently many guys think that holding onto their pants while they walk around is a necessary thing, but actually, the only time you want your pants falling down to the ground is when a woman drops them for you!

So update that wardrobe and make sure that you get rid of all the clothes that don’t fit you anymore. Don’t be attached to them – you bought them, they’ve been paid for – donate them! That’s what Goodwill is for, that’s what Salvation Army is for – and it’s before April 15th, so you can mark the whole thing as a tax write off!

If you buy new clothes, you should never be wearing the old stuff again that doesn’t look good on you. Don’t become a packrat. Look at it, realize that it got good wear, take it and give it to somebody else. Let them wear it – preferably someone with bigger shoulders and a bigger waist than yours! Or someone who doesn’t mind jeans that have been out of style for ten years – there’s always a home for every pair of jeans and lost shorts that are out there.

When you update your wardrobe, the same suitcase that you carried home from all of the clothing stores is the same suitcase that needs to go on the curb with a sign that says: FREE STUFF – Take me PLEASE before I decide to wear it again!

When you buy new clothes, they should not have labels on them for three months because you are “saving” them for a special event. Start wearing those new clothes on a daily basis – get used to the new you in them, and embrace the new you in them. Get used to the way you look – it’s going to take some time if you’ve been used to wearing baggy clothes to get used to wearing fitted stuff (which happens to look better on you anyway.) So look at your self in the mirror, start wearing the new stuff out.

Wearing stuff that actually fits you helps your posture too. Wearing a shirt that fits will help you to not roll your shoulders forward, and you’ll be more conscious of your posture. A shirt that fits you tighter is going to make you want to stand up straight and not hunch over like Cro-Magnon man.

So there are some tips for you to wear your new clothes right!
