This phenomenon most assuredly does happen to some women. I believe it happens in women who are very sexual… for men AKA.. a high sex drive. I happen to be one of those women, and I experience a range of feelings, pain, which intensify if the lack of release if prolonged. So yes, call it Blue Lips, Blue Walls.. It happens to women too.

I agree mx_mami,………There is a true physical component. The lips and clit can swell and flood with blood, it happens everytime we get ready for sex. If there is no release for whatever reason, it can be uncomfortable, your body becoming irritated by your undies because you are engorged. That’s brutally honest, I was suprised more women didn’t say that. I don’t get aches in my ovaries relating to being aroused. An engorged vagina from being sexually aroused is not so much painful and comparable to what a man feels with blue balls, rather than it is irritating against clothing and you just want to wear a night gown free flowing until you can calm down or release yourself. I’d rather just calm down when it’s this bad because masterbation doesn’t compare to a man. The good news is, when it’s that bad I’m usually with a man I’m comfortable enough to have sex with and have already done that with, I don’t get that hot for a guy whose private area I haven’t made sure I want. So I’m rarely left “blue”. That’s honest!

It sounds like women have varying degrees of of the ache. I hear them saying they have an “ovary” or “emotional” blue ball. I guess I am on the extreme end.

Now, to be brutally honest. Some of us women ACHE, THROB & SWELL with physical desire. I am talking about a literal, physical, pulsing, blood rushing, clit engorging condition. It can be horribly painful… when it’s been too long it gets to a point where I feel like a dog in heat. And I don’t crave chocolate… I crave a.. ehm.. you know.

Men don’t seem to have a problem expessing their blu balls and sex drive, so I feel like they should hear that some of us do understand. Any questions from an honest lady?

I would almost call it “green” balls. I feel like I could pick up a school bus and throw it at anybody that talks to me, like the incredible hulk. I get all Jeckel and Hyde, and manic. I get a lot done, but it isn’t any fun. My stomach hurts from my clit to my esophagus. I feel like a time bomb, and I don’t know the trigger. I also grab greasy and sugary foods over good food. I think it is way more of an emotion(hormones?) then anything physical…
