Baby Envy

Last day at the lake… I hope all of you are having an amazing Friday and an amazing beginning to your weekend!

Now onto today’s topic…

When you see a woman with a small dog, holding it really tight and walking around with it in their arms, they have baby envy.

This is usually a woman who wants a baby, that wishes she had a baby, but doesn’t have one. This is such an easy person to flirt with – a captive audience – it means that usually she hasn’t had much success in her dating life or if she’s met some guys, she has always picked the wrong ones.

Usually a lot of women like this, especially over the age of forty, carry the small dog and coddle it because of their maternal instincts. They are basically acting like mommies to that dog, not like a normal dog owner. It’s not the master-pet type of deal, it’s more like a woman who really would like to have a baby.

Pay attention to this type of woman, they are the easiest women to practice your flirting skills on, because they just haven’t had the best luck with guys! They haven’t met the man that’s going to give them a child yet.

They are so perceptive to your advances, and you can practice being playful with them.

I just might backfire..dogs pick up on vibes real easy and those smaller dogs are more jumpy. If the dog doesn’t like you then it’s the end of that flirting business.

  2. Terry says:

Hmm… If they haven’t had dating success there’s a reason for that. Sure some lirting practice is always fun, but if what you say is true then it makes me wonder what issues she would have and if I should steer clear.

  3. Axel says:

Wow, that was a really good advice. Ive seen lots of those kind of women around here and didnt know that about them!
    Thanx:)!

  4. Justin says:

Terry, there is no need to steer clear of talking to someone because they may have some relationship issues.

  5. d-rock says:

Yeah I agree with Justin, it wasn’t implied that you need to start a relationship with such person, but rather getting more comfortable approaching and engaging her into some interesting conversation. Plus, that situation could give you more opportunities cause you never know who all is watching.

  6. Sandra says:

Oh what a comment did you know that people who are married will adopted a pet just to claim it is their child for they don’t want a child just yet. Or an elderly couple that their kids are grown and out of the house will adopt a pet just to keep them company. But in some ways you are right but did you know that is a good way to get a companion.

  7. Kelly says:

Not to pile on Terry here, but I actually get asked that a lot. “You’re single…why don’t you have a boyfriend?” like being single is some sort of personal defect. Does mental health automatically bequeath everyone a significant other? The true reason for my being single is because I wanted to be. I was in a relationship for 7 years, and he wasn’t cutting it for a number of reasons, and I thought we should go our separate ways, and I regret nothing and have been happily single and dating for two years now. No baggage or “issues” to speak of. I’ll be thrilled when I meet someone new to start a relationship with, but I’m not going to start one just to start one because women are supposed to have boyfriends, like an accessory. You know?

    lets pile ón Terry,

or you Can look at in another Way. That she loves to cuddle, majority of dog people are more happy and relaxed than most others.

Kelly most fear not being with someone else, but if you truly stay in the moment and love yourself you fell that fear diminshing. I am single for other reasons and dont either settle for second Best just
because I “have” to be with someone, if it happens great if not I am still as content with myself. I just miss the hugs and snuggling after a while ;-)

  9. I think if you guys now see women with baby envy, then you just found the perfect opportunity to approach and meet that woman!!!! She probably is desperately wanting to meet Prince Charming now!!! hehe

  10. Mee says:

Wow! I never heard of this! Great advice, David! Next time, I’ll just shut my boogeyman and ego up and approach! :P
